PROS: Great nature and places shots for backgrounds - very easy to work with. Pose reference is great for studying how the human body looks when it moves and the nature shots are interesting and inspiring to work with.
CONS: Backgrounds may prove difficult for manipulators to remove due to shadows and lighting.

CONS:Resolution is rather grainy and lighting is a little washed out. Most of the stock is in packs which you must download (but there are a few individual examples from them).

PROS: Huge size/resolution. Great variety in subjects and perspectives. Great for 'ready to use' backgrounds. The lighting sets the perfect mood for any traditional artist - you can get a dreamy setting just by looking at the images.
CONS: Some of the cropping on model/animal stock is a bit ackward. Lighting is a bit off on the model stock.
